Proposals & Business Plans
A proposal or business plan is used to present an idea, project, or solution in a structured and convincing way. It helps you communicate your goals, outline your plan of action, and persuade others — whether it’s your manager, investor, or client.
🟢 1️⃣ Purpose of a Proposal
To convince others to approve your idea or project
To outline how you will achieve a goal
To request funding, support, or collaboration
💡 Tip: A good proposal is clear, factual, and goal-oriented — not just creative.
🟢 2️⃣ Basic Structure of a Business Proposal
Title Page
Example: “Marketing Proposal for Product Launch – ABC Company”
Executive Summary
A short overview of your idea and why it matters.
Example: “This proposal outlines a three-month marketing campaign to increase sales by 25% in Q1 2026.”
Objectives / Goals
What you want to achieve.
Example: “To reach new customers in the 18–25 age group through targeted online advertising.”

Budget & Timeline
Estimated cost and completion time.
Example: “Total estimated cost: $10,000 over three months.”
Conclusion / Call to Action
End with a clear statement of next steps.

Objectives:

Conclusion:

🟢 4️⃣ Writing Business Plans (for Entrepreneurs)
A business plan is similar to a proposal but focuses on your entire business — not just one project.
Typical Sections:
Executive Summary
Company Overview
Products / Services
Market Analysis
Marketing & Sales Plan
Financial Plan
Conclusion
💡 Tip: Keep it realistic — include data, estimated costs, and growth projections.
🟢 5️⃣ Practice Exercise
Task:
Write a short proposal introduction (3–4 sentences) for a project or business idea.
Mention:
The purpose
The expected result
One method you’ll use to achieve it
