Band 7 Answer
I would like to talk about a promise I made. Last year, I promised my younger sister that I would help her with her school project. She was struggling to complete it on her own, and I wanted to support her. I made sure to spend time with her every day, helping her with research and organizing her work. Keeping this promise made her very happy, and it also made me feel responsible. I learned that making a promise means you have to do your best to keep it. It was a simple promise, but it strengthened our relationship and made me feel proud.
Band 8 Answer
The promise I want to describe is one I made to my younger sister last year, which was to help her complete a challenging school project. She was finding it difficult to manage everything alone, so I assured her that I would support her throughout the process. I dedicated time every day to guide her with research, organize her work, and provide encouragement. Keeping this promise required patience, commitment, and effort, but it was extremely rewarding. Fulfilling it not only made her happy but also strengthened the trust and bond between us. From this experience, I learned that promises are meaningful commitments, and honoring them reflects responsibility and care for others. It was a valuable lesson in reliability and empathy, which I try to apply in other aspects of my life as well.
