Band 7 Answer

Recently, I had a phone conversation with my best friend. We talked about our plans for the weekend and some homework we needed to finish. The conversation was friendly and casual, and we laughed a lot while sharing funny stories. I also asked for some advice about a problem I was facing, and my friend gave me helpful suggestions. Even though we were far away, talking on the phone made me feel close and connected to my friend. The call lasted about twenty minutes, but it felt very comfortable and enjoyable. I try to have such conversations often because they make me feel supported and understood.

Band 8 Answer

A recent phone conversation that I remember well was with my older cousin. We discussed some important family matters as well as our personal plans for the next month. The conversation was engaging and meaningful, and we both shared our thoughts openly. During the call, I also asked for guidance about a study project, and he provided very valuable and practical advice. I felt connected and reassured despite the distance between us. The conversation was long, lasting nearly half an hour, but I didn’t feel bored because it was so interactive and lively. Talking to him reminded me of the importance of maintaining family relationships and how a simple phone call can create a sense of closeness and trust. Overall, it was a very memorable and useful conversation, and it encouraged me to communicate more regularly with my relatives.
