Band 7 Answer

I would like to talk about an argument I had recently. It happened with my younger brother about using the TV. He wanted to watch cartoons, but I wanted to watch a sports match. At first, we both got a little angry and raised our voices. Later, we decided to compromise and watch the sports match first, and then the cartoons. After that, we felt better because neither of us had to give up completely. I learned that arguing is normal sometimes, but it is important to listen to each other and find a solution.

Band 8 Answer

The argument I want to describe happened recently with my younger brother over using the television. He wanted to watch cartoons, whereas I was keen on watching a live sports match. Initially, both of us got frustrated and started raising our voices, which made the situation more tense. However, after taking a few minutes to calm down, we discussed the issue and agreed on a compromise: we would watch the sports match first, followed by the cartoons. This experience taught me that conflicts are inevitable, but handling them calmly and finding a fair solution is very important. It also helped me understand the importance of patience, communication, and respecting the other person’s preferences. Overall, I think a healthy argument can strengthen relationships if it is resolved thoughtfully.
